Built From Nothing

Four years ago, Michael walked into Home Depot, bought a shovel and a rake, and started Black Mountain Dirt Works. One truck. One phone. A lot of hours and a lot of learning along the way. The business has grown slowly since then through repeat customers, referrals, and steady work.

The same guy who started this company is the one answering your call today.

Hands-on. Owner-operated from day one. When you call Black Mountain, you're talking to the person who'll be on site. It keeps communication direct and makes it easier to figure things out as the project moves along.

How we work.

Every project follows the same three steps. No pressure, just a conversation to see if we're a fit.

Call Us

Tell us a bit about your project over the phone. We'll ask some questions and see if it's something we can help with.

Site Visit

If it seems like a good fit, we'll come take a look at the property and put together a plan that works for the space and your budget.

We Get to Work

Once we've agreed on the plan, we get started. We'll keep you posted as things move along.

Booking Ahead

Our schedule tends to fill up in spring.

If you're thinking about a project for this season, it usually helps to reach out a bit earlier. It gives us time to look at the job and figure out where it fits in.
