The homeowner wanted a concrete path that wandered through their garden from the front to the back — but the existing planting beds were mature and they didn't want them torn up. So we laid out the path first, working around what was already there, and excavated the trench in a soft curve that followed the natural flow of the space. Base in, forms up, concrete poured. The path looks like it grew into the garden rather than being cut through it. Sometimes the job is less about building and more about fitting something in without wrecking what's already there.
