Exposed aggregate is one of our favourite driveway finishes. It's durable, it's got grip when it's wet, and it looks way nicer than a plain broom-finish slab. This job was a driveway extension — we dug out the new section, prepped the base, formed it up, poured it, and then washed the surface at the right moment to expose the aggregate stone underneath. Timing matters on this finish — too early and you wash out too much, too late and the stone stays buried. It came out clean and ties right into the existing driveway like they were always one piece.
